Work Projects
We have several work site contacts with whom we will set you up. We are not able to confirm what your service projects will be until you arrive. Even then, or mid-week, the schedule is likely to change due to any number of reasons, not the least of which will be the weather. Working with vulnerable populations such as the poor, elderly or mentally ill in our area can present its own challenges. It could be family emergencies, illnesses, doctor’s appointments, or sometimes they just don’t feel comfortable meeting a bunch of strangers that particular day. In any case, your understanding and flexibility will be appreciated as we move to Plan B. And, remember, simple conversation can be a greater service than any project ever accomplished.
